Well it’s official, I am a geek!
I officially won the title of St. Louis’ Sexiest Cyber-Geek Lady of 2008. Wow, have I become that big of a nerd that I now have to be given a title? Let’s see, I am a web developer, sometimes I choose to stay home on a Friday or Saturday to clean my house, I like paying the bills and balancing my checkbook, and I like watching shows like Gossip Girl and 90210. Ok I guess there isn’t any argument there, but aren’t we all geeks in our own way?
Thankfully I have come to terms with my nerdyness and have learned to embrace it. I apologize to all the people who are close to me that have to experience it full force, but if I can’t be myself around you then what’s the fun in that? I guess my friends and family have come to terms with it as well. They still like to spend time with me 
In the end I guess I am an even bigger dork because I am actually excited about winning the contest. Yeah, I knew you were a hardcore geek. The time that you first said, “no, its okay, we’ll just pass the variables in a querystring then read them in Javascript” was the second that I knew that you were the mecca of female geeks.
On that note, congratulations, you rock, keep rockin, and oh yeah…someone has to balance the checkbook, and I am glad that it is you (cuz if your hubby did it, yall would be up a creek….)
