In case anyone was wondering out there, yes we do exist.  I know if may be hard to believe, but if you look really hard there are female web developers out there.  I am one of them.  I generally find myself in situations where I am the only female developer.  It doesn’t bother me, but I do get a lot of surprised looks when i tell people my career of choice.  There are many advantages and disadvantages to being a female web developer and the goal of this blog is to dive into the deails of each of these as I stumble upon them throughout my career.
